Who We Are

Founded in 1987 by Timothy Zaremba in Cleveland, Ohio, but tracing its roots all the way back to 1921, ZMC has grown to personally manage over 4,800 apartment units and 250,000 sq. ft. of office space across multiple states. Today, we carry forward the Zaremba family’s tradition of award-winning standards of excellence, ensuring that every resident, partner, and team member thrives within our dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

A Century of Commitment.

1921

The Story of Zaremba Management Company dates back to 1921, when Alex Zaremba started a home remodeling firm in Cleveland, Ohio.

1925

After World War I, the Zaremba family built over 6,000 brick bungalows for returning veterans.

1942

Walter A. Zaremba continued in his father’s footsteps by developing quality homes and commercial properties.

1987

Walter, Nathan and Timothy, carried on the family tradition with their involvement in various real estate and commercial properties.

1988

Zaremba’s dedication to quality living led to creating Zaremba Management Company, with Timothy Zaremba at the helm, to continue the tradition to present-day and provide their residents with the same level of care they brought to the development process.

2018

Siara Management merged with Zaremba Management, expanding the portfolio to New York and Pennsylvania.

Zaremba Management Company’s leadership team is a dynamic blend of seasoned professionals who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization. With decades of combined experience, our leaders bring a profound understanding of real estate, property management, and business development.

Valerie
Zaremba

President

Valerie Zaremba worked alongside Tim Zaremba for over 45 years. Together, they were involved in construction, landscaping projects, and the development and management of commercial and residential apartments. Valerie also headed up Zaremba Management’s corporate housing program and has been the interior designer on many of ZMC’s renovation and redecorating projects.

Principal
Joshua Zaremba is a fourth generation Zaremba working in the field of construction, management, and renovation of real estate. His interest in the family business was sparked by working next to his father, Timothy Zaremba. For over 25 years, Joshua has been involved in multiple facets of the business, from collections to renovation projects and capital asset management. Today, he is focused on overseeing all aspects of the operation.

Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining ZMC in 1997, Christine worked as a CPA for a regional accounting firm primarily serving real estate and not-for-profit clients. As CFO, Christine oversees the accounting department. She is responsible for the company’s financial functions, including cash management, refinancing, tax planning, and investor relations. Christine earned her MBA from the University of Akron. Outside of work, Christine enjoys golfing and fitness.

Director of Marketing and Employee Training

Jennifer has been with ZMC since 1988. She is responsible for the daily operations, marketing and leasing efforts at the managed communities and the due diligence and transitioning of new properties into our portfolio. Jennifer has had numerous roles within the company from site level management to Director of Marketing to VP. She holds a degree from Eastern Kentucky University. When not working, she appreciates spending time with her husband, two dogs and family. She has long been involved in all aspects of community theatre and is currently an active board member for the Rabbit Run Community Arts Association.

Robert Fyffe

Vice President

Robert joined ZMC in April 2018 after Zaremba Management acquired Siara Management where he was the VP. He has over 30 years of property management, asset management and development experience. Over the years, he has served in the position of Property Manager, Regional Manager, Director of Operations and Vice President. Robert oversees the operations, facility management and capital projects for our residential and commercial properties. Robert earned his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and is a licensed Ohio Real Estate Broker. Outside of work he cheers on The Ohio State football team and enjoys golf and time away with family at their cabin in Pennsylvania.

Director of Human Resources

Andrew joined ZMC in 2018 and has over 20 years of Human Resources experience in retail and the commercial and multi-family real estate industries. He is responsible for overseeing people operations and talent management strategy for the Company. Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree in business from The Ohio State University. In his free time, Andrew enjoys playing basketball, listening to music, coaching his son’s sports teams, and spending time with family and friends.

Todd was an operations manager for over 22 years before transitioning to residential property management with Siara Management in 2010 and then with ZMC in 2018. He is the Regional Property Manager for the Ohio portfolio of both residential and commercial properties. Todd enjoys going to car shows and is an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

Ferraro

Regional Manager
Susan is the Regional Property Manager for New York and Pennsylvania. Her career took off in 1994 when she started working in commercial property management. She transitioned to residential property management with Siara Management in 2005 and continued with ZMC in 2018. She completed her business education at New Kensington Commercial Business School and Robert Morris University. Outside of property management, she loves spending time with her husband and family, loves taking vacations, golfing and is an avid college football and basketball fan.

Telles-Marotta

Regional Manager
Yvonne joined ZMC in 2019 and serves as a Regional Property Manager. She is currently responsible for the daily operations, support, and management of our apartment communities in North Carolina and Virginia. She is a Certified Apartment Manager and has earned a Masters of Business Administration and Marketing degree from Liberty University. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for New Lease on Life through the Triangle Apartment Association. In her spare time, Yvonne enjoys spending time with her husband and family, cooking, traveling, and walking her three dogs.
